What shoppers can use
Amazon says one-day delivery covers hundreds of thousands of items. If you need an order by a particular day, check the delivery date for the items you choose before paying.
When comparing orders, record the item price, delivery charge and arrival date together so you can compare the total cost against the time available.
Compare delivery for your own parcels
Start with the parcels you send and the delivery dates you promise customers.
- Weigh and measure the packed parcel before comparing services.
- Choose the destination for the order you need to send.
- Compare the parcel price alongside the service’s delivery time.
Use the quote tool to compare prices for a weight and destination, cheapest first. For domestic orders, the Ireland route page lists parcel prices across every weight.

RTÉ reports that the Baldonnel fulfilment centre officially opened in 2022 with the creation of 500 jobs. It now employs 700 people.
