Shein takes over management in Rathcoole
The facility is in Greenogue Business Park in Rathcoole, Co Dublin. A third-party logistics provider previously ran the site. Shein now manages it directly, according to RTÉ.
The Irish Examiner reports that Shein opened the warehouse and e-commerce logistics facility on Monday. RTÉ puts its size at 16,000 square feet and says it will support up to 30 jobs when operating at full capacity.
Poland remains the primary European hub
Shein opened its primary European distribution hub in Wrocław, Poland, last winter, according to Checkout.
The company also opened a logistics warehouse in the UK Midlands last month, creating 450 jobs.
Shein’s stated aim for Irish customers
Shein now directly manages the Irish logistics facility serving its customers. Shein says the investment strengthens its ability to provide improved, more efficient services for customers across Ireland.
The company established its headquarters for Europe, the Middle East and Africa in Dublin in May 2023.
