Irish businesses sold over seven million items in Amazon.ie’s first year

Amazon launched its Irish site in March 2025. According to Business Plus, most Irish customers had previously relied on its UK platform. The publication also reports that Irish SMEs sold more than seven million items through Amazon in 2025.

The first-year figure amounts to more than 10 items sold every minute, according to Amazon’s figures reported by BreakingNews.ie. For your own sales plan, set an item target for each product using your selling price and costs.
